Trash and Appliance Drop-Off: What to Know

Please keep the following in mind before bringing your trash to us:

  • Regular Trash Drop-Off and Pricing: The average trash load (usually 30 gallons) costs $2 per bag. Prices for trailer or truck loads will be determined at the time of drop-off.
  • Appliance Drop-Off: Customers can drop off their appliances during business hours at no charge. Please note that we do not accept appliances containing Freon, such as refrigerators, freezers, and AC units.
  • Trailer Loads: No larger than 10 yards.

Drop Off Recycling for Current Customers

Here are the following items and materials we accept for drop-off recycling:

  • Bottle-grade plastics #1 and #2 and #4 thru #7 (plastic lids go to the trash)
  • Office paper and gift-wrapping paper
  • Corrugated cardboard and paper bags
  • Aluminum and metal food cans (rinsed out)
  • Newspapers, magazines, brochures, and inserts
  • Paperboard boxes (such as those used for cereal, pasta, and tissue)
  • Phonebooks, greeting cards, regular mail, and junk mail
  • Glass bottles and jars (rinsed out)
  • Bulky, rigid plastics, such as buckets and chairs (must have the recycling symbol)

Items We Do Not Accept for Recycling

Please do not bring the following trash types for drop-off, as we will not accept or allow them:

  • Plastic bags of any kind (including garbage bags and shopping bags)
  • Waxed cardboard (like the kind used for orange juice or milk cartons)
  • Electronics
  • Batteries and cell phones
  • Clothes, shoes
  • Food
  • Styrofoam (like take-out boxes or packing foam)
  • Plastic toys
  • Broken window glass, Pyrex, mirrors, or ceramics
  • Windows or tempered glass
  • Wire hangers
  • Needles or syringes
  • Hazardous waste
  • Construction material or vinyl siding
  • Tanglers, hoses, cords, or tree lights
  • Plastics (industrial, auto parts, plastics, or manufactured molded plastics)
